Recent discoveries have been made in the world of Aircraft. Test rials have been taken through the month of August and September. During those months they have made three take-offs and three landings safely without the help of a human flying the airplane. This just go to show you how technology is really advancing. Years ago there would have been no wondering if a plane could really be flown without someone actually inside piloting it. This new technology would be very beneficial when dealing with war or some sort of situation that would be very harmful for man to be in. Apple 2.0

Apple has stated they are to come out with a new Macbook computer on Tuesday October, 14, 2008. Normally this wouldn’t mean anything because Apple’s computer are normally on the higher price end. This is not true at all. Apple is said to have rumored that the new computer being released this Tuesday is to be priced under $900. Some sources say it to be even lower than $800. This would open up several doors for Apple. 1) it would open a whole new door for those customers who couldn’t afford any of their previous computer because the price was to high, now it is in a more affordable price range.

Silverlight 2

Microsoft just released the new program that is based around Adobe’s Flash and other web tools, it’s called Silverlight. They originally released this program (version 1) over a year ago.

Silverlight delivers a wide range of new features and tools that enable designers and developers to better collaborate. This includes more accessible, discoverable and more secure user experiences.

This program would benefit web page designers and business web page designers. It will provide an easier way for people within the company to transfer data and share ideas without the general public hacking in and messing with it. It also provides simpler methods of navigation throughout the general creation of a website. All of these features will better guide past web designers and future ones to come.

Researches have come to find that electric currents from eels could help in producing a bio-battery. Two scientists say that the battery they have created out of natural electrocytes will produce 28% more electricity and be 31% more effecient.

Another webdesign has joined yahoo. It’s called Zimbra. This webdesigning program has combined with Yahoo to creat a more organized and fun environment. It helps organize your calendar and many other options that you have with Yahoo. it automatically manages your calendar, tasks, contacts, etc. You are also able to read your mail offline. It also has a visual search builder that allows you to quickly find pictures, directions, and other important things from the people you care about.

A table that all you have to do is touch to complete any task….. isn’t that impossible? Well according to the people at Microsoft, NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE!!! This table can do almost anything, to name a few:

1) you can draw pictures on it with paint by your finger

2) you can pull out photos from your camera and organize them on the table and put them back into another camera

3) transfer music from on phone to the next through the table

4) order food and pay with your credit card

All this just does not seem possible, but watching this video really makes you think…there is so much technological progression now a days, how can something like this not be possible?

Samsung wants SanDisk?

All the rumble about this is far overbearing. Why would a $100 billion dollar company want just a $3.9 billion dollar company? The answer is simple, well almost. Apparently Samsung has been fighting the headlines “Samsung unable to maintain Flash memory orders” when it comes to items such as the ipod and iphone. John biggs says that in a decade there will be an end of the optical disk then in another 15 years we won’t even be seeing the hard drive. Samsung’s idea is to purchase Sandisk which is a small company that pioneered a considerable amount of the IP and Patents that go into making flash drives. Their thought is “hey why not buy them and maybe we might be able to produce a safe storage drive that people will feel comfortable with?”

Did you ever think that we would eventually be riding around in cars powered by electricity? I know for sure that I didn’t. They have tested these cars in America, Japan, belgium and France. Now they have moved on the London, England. They have put up 40 re-charging stations. Currently they can only reach 60 mph, but they are already improving on ways to heighten that speed. Right now only EDF personel can test drive these cars, but you can get your motor running sometime in 2009.
